The future

Nicky feeding the pigs

Mackintosh’s is very aware of increasing public awareness of where ‘food’ is sourced and how it is produced. Cindy and Nicky have therefore decided to ensure that Mackintosh’s starts the process of becoming 100% ‘Organic’ using local organic producers.

Mackintosh’s is now able to supply on request a full range of organic menus, as it has recently made arrangements with a ‘Soil Association’ certified organic farm to provide it with a wide selection of food products. Mackintosh’s is also able to provide some produce that can be grown especially for your event such as ‘Micro Cress’

In order that Mackintosh’s reduce its carbon footprint and reaches its goal of becoming carbon neutral, it has been decided that there will be a ‘carbon audit’ carried out. The long-term result will not only benefit the environment but Mackintosh’s as well.

We are working towards ISO 9001 quality management system as we are committed to consistent quality and our customer focus.

Mackintosh’s has always cared about the welfare of animals and only sources its meat from butchers who buy from certified free-range farms. Consequently Mackintosh’s is delighted to support Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall Chicken out Campaign.
