Mulberry choose Mackintosh’s to impress their clients

Designer handbag brand Mulberry has taken the next step in the world of fashion by adding footwear to the brand’s accessory line, which is set to debut in the season of Autumn 2008. The new line made its worldwide debut at the brand’s London Fashion Week presentations, in the New Bond Street showroom on February 14, 2008 and, as Mulberry’s preferred caterer, Mackintosh’s were asked to impress the clients with a selection of tasty canapés.

Following on from the day’s presentations came the biggest party of London Fashion Week as the store was transformed into a Hawaiian paradise to launch Vogue contributor Hadley Freeman’s book ‘The Meaning of Sunglasses’.

With music from British electropop sensation Hot Chip and DJ Mylo, some of the biggest names in fashion, including Lily Allen, Kimberley Stewart and Geldof siblings Peaches and Pixie, were there to enjoy Mackintosh’s Hawaiian themed menu which included Lomi cured salmon, scallops and coconut & chilli king prawns.
