Mackintosh’s has had a fantastic response to its ‘office lunches’. As our corporate clients try and find ways to cut down on expenses without brining down team morale, they have enthusiastically taken up our offer of lunch menus. These are all reasonably priced and really make the right impression whether it’s a departmental lunch or a client presentation.

What would a Christmas party be without Champagne? With what’s been going on in the world’s economy, ‘the cheaper option’ has become a by-word; however our clients are finding there are some great bubbly alternatives.

There’s nothing better than cosying up to the fire and watching a good movie with a hearty meal, knowing that outside the rain is falling, the wind is blowing and the last of the leaves are being blown off the trees. With some great root vegetables in season, such as butternut squash, pumpkin, parsnips, swede, celeriac to name but a few, a delicious stew or a soup would be the perfect meal. Nothing could be simpler to make than soup or a stew, especially since you can make it the day before.

Mackintosh’s like all London caterers is looking forward to this holiday season, as people seem to be gearing up for Christmas parties. This month has already brought us into the new Westfield Shopping Centre where we worked with Mulberry and Grazia, catering an exclusive tea party. This was to celebrate the opening of Mulberry’s new store in the Village and the launch of their brilliant new Early Spring Collection.

This event held at one of Mackintosh’s great London venues, The Getty Image Gallery, showcased the winner as well as the runners-up of the Duracell “How Do You Recharge Your Batteries?” photography competition.
